Intensive Courses – Learn German in Frankfurt – fast and effective
If you want to learn German as quickly and efficiently as possible, then an intensive course is the right choice for you. In our intensive courses, you will learn every day from Monday to Friday from either 9am – 12:15pm or 2pm – 5:15pm.
Our German intensive courses are for everyone – whether you’re just starting, already know some German, or want to improve and refine your skills. In your course, you will learn exactly what you need to make fast progress.

Q&A Intensive Courses
A German intensive course: 4-5 weeks
An intensive course lasts 4-5 weeks, depending on the language level. You can find an overview here.
Trial lesson in certain cases
We first conduct a placement test, which is a conversation in German. If it is not clear from this test which course level is best for you, we offer a trial lesson.
Course book included
The course book is included in the price, so you don’t have to buy it separately. We do not use a fixed book for all courses but work with German course books available in bookstores. For A1 levels, we often use Pluspunkt and Netzwerk neu (among others); for B levels, Aspekte neu or Kontext (among others); and for C levels, Kontext or Kompass (among others). Note: If you join a course that has already started and has less than 50% of its sessions remaining, the book is no longer included. In this case, you will need to purchase it yourself.
Exam preparation exclusively in 1:1-lessons
All group courses are general language courses. We offer exam preparation exclusively in one-on-one lessons. If you would like to prepare for an exam, you can book a few lessons after a group course to focus specifically on your exam preparation. Typically, you will need no more than 10-18 lessons for this. The exact number of hours you need will be discussed in detail during a consultation. Just let us know, and we will schedule an appointment for a consultation.
Placement test required
All participants must take a personal placement test before enrolling. This test is free and takes about 15 minutes. It can be done online or in person at our school. Simply schedule an appointment with us: info@sprachpassion.com.
Intensive courses start every month
Intensive courses are planned to start every month from January to November, usually on the first Monday of the month. In January, courses begin after the Christmas holidays, typically in mid-January. There are no new intensive courses starting in December.
Course change if the level doesn’t fit
If there is a course at the appropriate level, you can switch. However, since we conduct a personal placement test with every participant, it has not been necessary to change course levels so far. We ensure that all students in a course are at the same level, as this is the most effective way to make progress.
Certificate of participation at the end of the course
At the end of your course, you will receive a certificate of participation, confirming that you have completed a German evening course with us.
We do not offer official exams like Telc or Goethe
Our focus is on high-quality German instruction. However, some of our students take an exam afterward. They book a few one-on-one lessons with us to prepare and then take the exam at an official test center.
