I’d rather say nothing, my German is so bad…”

Take the first step: Contact us to find out your language level:

DISQtrust award for SprachPassion – language school in Frankfurt recognized as a leading private education provider in Germany

Awarded by DISQtrust – and valued by German learners.

SprachPassion is one of Germany’s top private education providers (DISQtrust). At our language school in Frankfurt, you learn German with enjoyment, personal guidance, and methods that truly work. Our focus is on getting you to speak German from the very first lesson – because speaking is the key to real progress. That’s why people who value genuine results and high-quality language courses trust us.

From the very first lesson: Speak German

In our German courses, you learn to SPEAK. Because SPEAKING is our focus. Naturally, a lot, and right from A1.1.

If you don’t learn to actually SPEAK German, your language barrier will remain – that constant fear of speaking. And then, unfortunately, you will never truly master German. Speaking is the key to everything:

  • Your everyday life becomes easier.
  • You can better support your children.
  • You’ll find a better job much more easily – a job you actually enjoy.
  • You’ll integrate much faster.

You think this works with English instead?
Our answer: No, unfortunately it doesn’t. If you want to live in Germany, you need to speak German.

That’s just the way it is.

Has this ever happened to you?

  • Someone asks you for direction and you feel helpless because you don’t understand a word.

  • You want to buy a delicious piece of bread at the bakery so you point to it and say ‟uhhh“, then you feel like an idiot because you can’t say what you would like.

  • You want to know where the eggs are at the grocery store, but you don’t dare to ask. Instead, you would rather search for them yourself forever.
  • You have a German speaking partner and you would still like to better express what you really think.

  • Before a doctor’s appointment you think out all of questions in German, but you don’t understand the answers.

  • You meet up with the other parents in the kindergarden and all you can say is ‟Hello, how are you?”. Although you would like to do more than just make small talk

Franziska Becker, director of SprachPassion, in the German language institute Frankfurt; in the background a teacher speaks with a German learner

I know how embarrassing it can be to think about the right words

Hello, I’m Franziska – and I can still remember this exact moment when I was in France in the year 2002.

I was sitting in a bank in Bordeaux with four of my suitcases and wanted to open a bank account. And all I could say was ‟Bonjour“ and ‟Je“- ‟Good day“ and “I”. I hadn’t trusted myself enough to speak and I sounded so dumb. I felt the most confident when I could have a conversation with people in German or English.

When I came back six months to close my bank account, the same bank employee said, ‟You have learned so much French!”

That was an amazing feeling – and for this exact feeling I founded the language school SprachPassion.

This is how we can work together

Step 1:

You call or send us an e-mail.

Step 2:

You arrange a placement conversation with us.

Step 3:

We find the appropriate course for you.
